All our Nude Food bars intentionally contain just the right amount of coarse ground sea salt for random, occasional counterpoints to the dominant flavors and sweetness. Our fans love this touch and we hope you will too. Cinnamon is also an intentional ingredient in every one of our bars. Numerous studies and much research shows that cinnamon plays an invaluable role in supporting insulin and regulation of blood sugar levels. Most Nude Food Bars also intentionally contain small amounts of virgin coconut oil (the exception is our Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bar). Coconut oil is now recognized as an extremely healthy oil; both for its metabolism-stimulating medium chain fats as well as for its anti viral.anti fungal compound, lauric acid. Plus we think coconut oil smells divine!
